It’s no secret that Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas have had a rocky marriage filled with financial difficulties and alleged cheating scandals. The model has even gone as far in the past to say she wasn’t physically attracted to her husband.

While the pair seemed to be on good terms at the RHOA season 8 reunion, Cynthia recently revealed that the state of her marriage has taken a turn for the worse.

On the radio show Reality Checked with Amy Phillips, Cynthia said, “We’ve been married five years. We’ve been together for eight. We’re the only couple on The Real Housewives of Atlanta that was actually married on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. We’ve never been married outside of the show, and I don’t think that has helped us a lot.”

She added, “…maybe if we were married three years before we got on the show, that would’ve been better. I just have nothing to compare my marriage to outside of being on the show. It’s just been difficult. I mean, the wedding was difficult. Everything about our marriage has been difficult.”

The 48-year-old wife and mother added that she wasn’t sure if a divorce was in her imminent future.

“I never said that we were perfect. I don’t know what’s gonna happen. I usually have all the answers for all the questions, but when it comes to my marriage, I just don’t know right now,” she said. “I just know that it’s not good right now.”

Beauties, do you think Cynthia and Peter staying in a loveless marriage for the sake of a check? Was Cynthia wrong to spill the tea on such a personal matter, or does her position as a reality star mean all bets are off?
