Taraji P. Henson and Viola Davis got some richly deserved recognition when they snagged some Emmy nominations. But a few more won’t hurt!

Even if neither of the ladies take home the big award–which would be a hashtag-worthy injustice–they are still winners to us. If we could hand out a few more Emmys, this is what they’d win.

Best On-Screen Comeback – Taraji P. Henson

Taraji has added extra flare and certain kind of toughness to Cookie’s comeback narrative on Empire. No one could play out that story quite like Taraji.

Realest Moment – Viola Davis

Viola was playing no games on one episode of HTGAWM when she went through her entire night-time routine and removed all of her makeup, eyelashes and wig.

Outstanding Wig Snatch – Jussie Smollett

Jussie Smollett stole the show at the Empire White Party when he remixed his daddy’s hit as a coming out anthem!

Most Suspenseful Cliffhanger – Viola Davis

ABC teased Annalise Keating’s big question for a week, but we were still gagged when she asked her husband point-blank, “Why is your penis on a dead girl’s phone?”

Blackest Moment – Cicely Tyson

There are few things Blacker than having your mom scratch our your head. Adding Cicely Tyson to the mix only amped it up.

Most Surprising Hobby – Uzo Aduba

We were a little surprised when we saw Crazy Eyes writing adult fiction. But it must have been good because she had a huge following at Litchfield.

Best Villain – Terrence Howard

We’re pretty sure that Lucious Lyon is the personification of pure evil. It’s in the Bible somewhere, but don’t ask us which verse.

Best Mastermind – Joe Morton

Scandal didn’t have any big nominations this year, but we couldn’t leave it out. No one can concoct a scheme and deliver an epic monolouge quite like Papa Pope.

Outstanding Boss Lady- Taraji P. Henson

Cookie Lyon is bound and determined to succeed at getting her fair share of Empire Records. Whether that means plotting her son’s next moves, getting into a drinking contest, or forcing a star to clean up their act, Cookie is going to get it done.

Best Reaction To An Emmy Snub – Lee Daniels

Lee kept it short and not-so-sweet when he said, after finding out that Empire had not been nominated for an Emmy, he said, “F*ck these motherf*ckers.”

Most Addictive Show – Empire

The show might seem a little overdone at first, but it definitely has us hooked. We can’t wait until season 2!

Most Complicated Story Line – HTGAWM

As much as we love How To Get Away With Murder, it’s a little tough to follow all the back-and-forth in the show’s timelines.

Best Human Drama – Orange Is The New Black

While we love Empire and How To Get Away With Murder for all of its unbelievable moments, Orange Is The New Black has really been able to tap into the various, heartbreaking backstories of its characters.

Best Transformation – Uzo Aduba

Seeing Uzo Aduba go from her usual red carpet glamour to her Crazy Eyes look is astounding.

Most Dramatic Moment – Terrence Howard

That scene on Empire where Lucious tries to throw Jamal into the trash still gets us a little teary-eyed. We have to watch that episode with a box of tissues on-hand.

Most Embarrassing Moment – Gabrielle Union

We died of secondhand embarrassment when Mary Jane wet her new boyfriend’s bed on Being Mary Jane. He handled it way better than most would have.
