The 10th annual Apollo Spring gala hit Harlem Monday night, bringing with it living legends like Ne-Yo, Ray Chew, Fab 5 Freddy, Nile Rogers, John Starks and rising stars Luke James and Kimberly Nichole. #TeamBeautiful was in attendance to witness all the greatness as it went down. The fundraising event, which benefits the Apollo performing arts institution, raised $2.3 million last year and continues to highlight the importance of performing arts programs.

AJ Calloway hosted the star-studded concert, noting it was his first time returning to the Apollo stage since a taping 15-years-ago when ‘106 & Park’ hosted a show there.

“I started my career here,” he told the audience. “The first time I was on this stage was ‘106 & Park’ and that was 15 years ago. So I’m really, really happy to be here.”

It was also a “home coming” for Nile Rodgers and Ray Chew, who rocked the Apollo stage like they did in their heyday.
