Kid Rock isn’t shying away from his recent comments surrounding BeyoncéRock nearly broke the internet (sorry Kim) when excerpts from an interview he gave Rolling Stone magazine became public. Last week, Rock told the legendary publication he couldn’t understand why the singer was regarded so highly by many and claimed she didn’t have a staple song (is your radio broken, Kid??) that makes her so revered.

Rock remarked:

Beyoncé, to me, doesn’t have a f*cking ‘Purple Rain,’ but she’s the biggest thing on Earth. How can you be that big without at least one ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ or ‘Old Time Rock & Roll’? People are like, ‘Beyoncé’s hot. Got a nice f*cking a**.’ I’m like, ‘Cool, I like skinny white chicks with big tits.’ Doesn’t really f*cking do much for me.”

You already know Beyoncé fans, known as the “Beyhive” weren’t going to allow the rap/rocker to get away with trashing their queen’s name. Fans swarmed Rock’s Instagram page by posting brutal comments, along with countless pictures of bees and bee emojis to show support of Mrs. Carter. Rock, who’s latest album, First Kiss which was released on Feb. 24 around the time of the interview,  finally responded to the Beyhive with a picture of his own on IG. With no caption written, Rock posted:

Kid Rock’s apparently trying to show fans he’s not phased but that hasn’t stopped them. The Beyhive continued to jack Rock’s comments with harsh remarks and of course, bees.
