Amber Rose landed her first starring role in “Sister Code.” The film follows three foster sisters as they try to make their way in the world following their mother’s death. Eva Marcille plays the shrewd business woman, Drew Sidora as the caregiver and Amber Rose as the free spirit. “Sister Code” also co-stars Essence Atkins and Anne-Marie Johnson.

Amber plays Lexi, a free spirit entrepreneur who wants to start her own lingerie line. Somehow she gets the clever idea to blackmailing Marcus T. Paulk’s character to finance her line and of course, shenanigans ensue.
The plot actually seems good, but Myles from ‘Moesha’ plays an actor worth blackmailing to start a lingerie line?! Huh and what? That just doesn’t seem plausible. Was Brian White not available? He’s always ripe for this type of role. The film is available April 10th.
Eva Marcille is not letting the drama of her personal life get in the way of her work. She’s also starring in the new TV One show “Born again Virgin.”
