North Korea is holding the U.S. responsible for its Internet being shut down and has resorted to calling President Barack Obama a “monkey” on the heels of Sony pictures deciding to release The Interview online. According to the Associated Press,  North Korea still steaming from accusations it is behind the Sony Pictures e-mail hacking scandal and furious over the movie’s plotline of assassinating its leader Kim Jong Un.  Sony did a reversal of its initial decision not to release the film, after Obama criticized their actions. A spokesman for North Korea’s National Defense Commission, which is led by Kim, said in a released statement ran by the Korean Central News Agency:

Obama always goes reckless in words and deeds like a monkey in a tropical forest.

The spokesperson also blamed the White House for the constant internet outages its suffered after Obama declared the U.S. will, “respond proportionally” regarding the Sony hacking. So far the White House has not released a statement on North Korea’s vile comments. While the communist nation has applauded the group “Guardians of Peace” who are behind the hacking,  North Korea has maintained they are not behind the cyber attack. They country has condemned The Interview for what it considers a dishonest and traditionalist film. North Korea’s commission’s spokesman further stated:

The U.S., a big country, started disturbing the Internet operation of major media of the DPRK, not knowing shame like children playing a tag.

Sounds like someone needs a nap with all that whining… Despite the movie being released in limited capacity, it brought in $1 million on its opening day in small indie theatres.
