On the heels of yet another woman claiming she was drugged and raped by Bill Cosby, supermodel Janice Dickinson revealed she too was allegedly raped by the comedian, actor and activist in 1982. Dickinson sat down with Entertainment Tonight where she detailed the alleged sexual abuse, claiming she was in Bali on a job when Cosby called and invited her to Lake Tahoe, where he was performing. He allegedly wanted to offer her a job and help with her aspiring singing career. When she arrived, they had dinner and eventually wound up in her room where Janice said, Cosby gave her wine and a pill.

“The next morning I woke up, and I wasn’t wearing my pajamas, and I remember before I passed out that I hadd been sexually assaulted by this man,” she said. “… Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning I remember waking up with my pajamas off and there was semen in between my legs.”

She added, “I’m doing this because it’s the right thing to do, and it happened to me, and this is the true story.”

Despite more than a dozen woman accusing him of sexual assault dating back to 1969 when Joan Tarshis claims he raped her, it wasn’t until comedian Hannibal Buress blatantly called Cosby a “rapist” during a comedy set in Philly, that mainstream media began acknowledging the allegations. “He’s a serial rapist,” Tarshis recently told CNN’s Don Lemon in an explosive interview.

Cosby refuses to address the recent allegations against him. He’s backed out of several interviews, including the “Queen Latifah Show” and “The Late Show With David Letterman.” Instead, his lawyer issued this statement:

“Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work. There will be no further statement from Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives.” – John P. Schmitt, lawyer for Bill Cosby

Some friends and fans of Cosby find the allegations against him unfathomable while others are still trying to comprehend, if the allegations are true, why did it take these women so long to say something?

As Whoopi Goldberg, friend of Cosby, stated on “The View” earlier this week, “We’ll know when we know, and that’s what I know.”
