Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been married for about three months now, yet people are still concerned with why Jay Z and Beyonce didn’t show up to their wedding. We know what you’re thinking…so many things have happened since that day in May.
But, just in case you are still wondering, here’s what Page Six is saying about the Carters skipping Kimye’s big day:
According to the source, they shunned Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding because it was too low-rent for the Jay Z/Beyoncé brand. “They are guarding like hell their status,” the source says. “Beyoncé wasn’t going to allow a Kardashian to socially climb her. And Jay didn’t want Kanye with Kim — he thinks it’s bad for business. I think Jay lost a little respect for Kanye there.”
In related news, Beyonce’s fan site @BeyLite posted this never-before-seen image from an old photo shoot with Beyonce and Jay Z while she was pregnant.
