Star NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette and 49ers wide receiver Quinton Patton are under investigation following an alleged sexual assault incident that occurred at Lockette’s room at the Viceroy Hotel in Miami on April 1.

According to reports, the unknown Black woman said she began mixing drinks for the boys at 9pm when they requested she take a hit from their bong or they wouldn’t drink their shots. After obliging, she began to feel light-headed and ended up in the bedroom to lye down where Kaepernick followed her. The woman says he then “came up behind her into the bedroom and started kissing her.” He undressed her until she was naked. “Mr. Kaepernick told her that he was going to be right back and left the bedroom. They did not have sex,” but have had relations in the past.

The woman was naked in bed when the other two players peeked inside the room. She told them to get out. She eventually woke up in the hospital. No charges have been filed yet, but the case is being considered under sexual assault because the victim wound up in the S.V.U.
Kaepernick and Patton posted this picture on Instagram days after the incident allegedly happened:
Sexual assault seems to have a pattern in the NFL. Former NFLer Darren Sharper was arrested on multiple charges for raping women after drugging them with Ambien. With rap lyrics like Rick Ross’ “put a molly all in her drink and she didn’t even know it” perpetuating sexual assault on helpless women, it’s become clear that these men are abusing their power.

When will these athletes learn that it is still rape even if she can’t isn’t fighting back?
