Drake and his Hollywood PR firm ID have parted ways. Reportedly, reps chucked the deuces to the “Started From the Bottom” rapper after he blasted Rolling Stone for replacing his scheduled cover story with a last-minute tribute to late Philip Seymour Hoffman last month.

“I’m done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That’s the only way my message gets across accurately,” Drizzy tweeted after the magazine bumped his story to the inside pages. He added, “the press is evil.”
Well, this was the last straw for ID, who initiated the split with their superstar client. “Drake is an incredibly talented artist and we’re proud of our results for Nothing Was The Same and Would You Like A Tour? We wish him the best,” the firm in a statement to Billboard.
An insider told the Hollywood Reporter Drake “has been known to be difficult to manage.” And according to the New York Post, he failed to show up to several magazine shoots and TV appearances arranged by his public relations firm. “It’s a shame that someone with so much talent is surrounded by kids who are burning bridges left and right,” a source told Page Six. The site also reported the Drake has bad history with two other firms, The Chamber Group and ICM.
