Just in case you haven’t gotten enough of our favorite shade queen Gabourey Sidibe, the Oscar nominee and breakout movie star is adding another film to her resume. The new movie, “White Bird In A Blizzard,” debuted at the Sundance Film Festival this week and Gab was on hand to celebrate the premiere with her co-stars, Shailene Woodley, Shiloh Fernandez, Christopher Meloni and Mark Indelicato.

Based on the novel with the same title, “White Bird In A Blizzard” is tale of a teenaged girl named Kat (Shailene Woodley) who’s living in the late 1980s. After her abusive mother disappeared and her father fell into deep depression, Kat started an affair with middle aged man who was also the detective assigned to her mother’s case while simultaneously trying to stay in a relationship with her boyfriend.  Gabourey plays one of Kat’s misfit yet sassy best friends who hang around Kat while she attempts to prepare for college life in the midst of all of her turmoil.

And that’s not all! Angela Bassett also makes an appearance in the film as the therapist that Kat visits during all of her family drama. Sounds like an awesome film!

Will you give this film a shot?
