Mo’Nique Hosted “Love & Hip Hop” NY Reunion

Guess who’s stepped in to control the reality TV show masses…Academy Award winning actress and former BET host Mo’Nique

Mona Scott-Young retired (indefinitely) from hosting the “Love & Hip Hop” NY reunion and handed over the reigns to Monique, who stepped in for the producer at last week’s taping.

Given Monique’s accolades, it’s hard to picture her hosting reality TV, but don’t forget where the B-Moore native got her start, in films like “Soul Plane and “3 Strikes.” We have to admit how excited we are. Monique doesn’t play, she will rule the ratchets with an iron fist.
