We already introduced you to LipBar Founder Melissa Butler, but the powerhouse continues to find ways to expand her company. Melissa wants to give her customers a one-of-a-kind experience that we can’t pass up!
The LipBar is raising funds for a new cosmetics truck that will travel across the country and allow customers to try some of the funky lipstick colors for themselves. We love the speed of online shopping, but it can be hard for us to tell how a color or shade will look.
“Women want to experience the product for themselves before making the purchasing decision,” Melissa says. “And with the Lip Bar being offered exclusively through our website, it’s hard to make that personal connection.” Melissa and her team then thought of introducing a truck, which she hopes will excite devoted fans and intrigue new customers.
Melissa promises a true personal experience by offering customized cosmetics to customers during the truck tour. “No two women are alike,” she says. “But all women are forced to choose from the same handful of products. With the truck, we will provide customized cosmetics for the health conscious consumer, reaffirming our belief in individuality.”
