President Obama and Oprah’s friendship seems to be coming to an end. Say it ain’t so! The Big O has always been a big supporter of the president, but it seems since she missed his second inauguration at the top of the year, they have been growing apart. Oprah recently asked to be the celebrity spokesperson for The Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare, but has said, “No.” Other celebrities like Jennifer Hudson and Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev have offered up their star power for Obamacare, but not our favorite media mogul! Why!?
The New York Post is reporting that Oprah is upset about some of the promises that the Obama Administration didn’t keep. “Oprah was promised unique access to the White House if Obama won,” however she was never given the amount of security clearance she was promised. This resulted in her backing out of his 2012 re-election campaign and, more recently, has also resulted in her backing out of any further endorsements, such as with ObamaCare.”
How dare you deny Oprah access to anything!? We all know she runs the world. Well, maybe Obama and his staff didn’t realize. It seems President Obama and Oprah aren’t even friends anymore! Let’s hope this isn’t personal, and that it’s just business.
