The absolute BEST part of Kimmel’s interview with Kanye

Kanye West appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to squash their Twitter beef and the interview proved to be quite endearing. I definitely expected a continuation of Kanye’s seemingly never-ending rant and he gave us just that. The rapper hit on every topic plaguing him, from paparazzi harassment to Kim Kardashian being denied a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to what impact he wants his company, DONDA , to have on the world.

Kanye got a chance to truly explain his misinterpreted quotes, but in typical Yeezy fashion, he rambled on, providing us with even more material to spoof. He claimed that celebrities are way too afraid to voice their opinions, so they stay silent, and of course he reminded the audience that he’s different (in case you didn’t get that from the moment he uttered “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people,” back in ’05). Kanye told Kimmel he delights in being able to voice his opinion in “real life” and “real time.”

From, “I’m not into all that snobbery” to “all we want to do is make awesome stuff,” Kanye consistently delivered quotables that are sure to live on longer than leather jogging pants, the catalyst of the Kimmel/Kanye drama in the first place.

Check out some of Yeezy’s best quotes during his interview with Jimmy Kimmel:

“So I can go and let out everything that I feel about every bogus weekly cover, every single bogus skit, every single rumor and barber shop–everything that people feel is ok to treat celebrities like zoo animals, or act like what they’re saying is not serious, or their lives are not serious or their dreams are not serious.”

“I spent two of my checks in telemarketing when I was 18-years-old on my first pair of Gucci slippers. This was before H&M and Zara, you couldn’t just find cool stuff when you were growing up. And to me, I care a lot about cool stuff. It means something to me.”

“I’m totally weird. I’m totally honest and I’m totally inappropriate sometimes. And the thing is, for me to say I wasn’t a genius, I would just be lying to you and myself.”

“I want to shout out the stars on the walk of fame because they said something about they’re not going to put my girl on the Walk of Fame because she’s a reality star. It’s like, people are so so dated and not modern. There’s no way that Kim Kardashian should not have a star on the Walk of Fame. It’s ridiculous concepts. I’m just going to give y’all the truth and you’re just going to love it.”

“I do everything I can to break media.”

“Who do you know is known more for clothes than me?”

“It’s about truth, it’s about information, it’s about awesomeness.”

“With Apple, you remember when there was phones that cost $4000?! Somebody pull out a Vertu phone right now, you’d look ridiculous!”

“Don’t try to antagonize me, because you know what, it’s not safe for you in the zoo. Never think I’m not from Chicago for one second.”
