On Friday night, members at Tabernacle of Praise Worship Center in Lake Charles, Louisiana suffered a huge loss. According to reports, their pastor, Ronald J. Harris Sr., was killed while delivering the sermon at a revival service.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office report that a gunman, identified as Woodrow Karey, shot Pastor Harris “as he was preaching” around 8:20 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Karey, a 53-year-old resident of Lake Charles, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He was transported to Calcasieu Correctional Center where his bail was set at $1 million.
Police are still investigation the case and a motive has not yet been reached.
