That moment when your favorite “Project Runway” designer delivers a pretty amazing collection and you scream with joy on the inside. Yep, that happened to me this Saturday.

Samantha Black presented her Spring 2014 collection during New York Fashion Week at an event sponsored by Svedka, Hanes Hosiery, Isola Shoes, Essence of Argan, and Activate Water. If you are wondering how to get all of this divalicious messy-on-purpose hair the models were rocking, we can thank Glam Extensions who served as official hair sponsor, and Bethany “Queen B.” Bell who was the lead hairstylist.

Besides a collection filled with must-buy trendy looks, her spring debut was packed with celebrities and tastemakers. I was actually sitting in the front row next to Luke James (who totes knows who I am, #gasps) before he moved to hang with the fellas! Elise Neal, RaVaughn (Compound/ Columbia Recording artist), Bridget Kelly (RocNation recording Artist) Tami Roman (Basketball Wives), Meeka Claxton (Basketball Wives, Co-owner of Pynk Magazine), Amanda Seales, and Ariane (Love & Hip Hop ATL) all sat gorgeously on the front row.

Ariane actually replaced Luke as my seat mate–please note that this chick is freaking hilarious. We chatted about everything from ill-fitting Louboutins, to messy hairdos. We took selfies and all, I think we’re friends now! LOL.

But before the catwalk, guests were greeted with a special performance from Elle Varner. I do think she should have modeled the finale look, or performed an entire set like Janelle Monae did for Rebecca Minkoff. But I digress.

Samantha’s spring collection embodies the girl about town with curve-hugging jumpsuits and midriff showing cocktail dresses! I think I need to sign up for a Bally’s membership, ugh.

Check out the entire collection below and relive the awesomeness in her latest designs:
