It’s been two decades since we first met and fell in love with Khadijah, Synclaire, Regine, Max, Overton and Kyle — better known as the cast of the hit 90’s show “Living Single!”

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the beloved sitcom, and in a recent interview with ESSENCE.com, star Queen Latifah revealed that a reunion show with her old cast members may be in the works.

“Oh man! I would love to,” she said of the idea. “I was just talking to Kim Coles the other day and Erika [Alexander] and I were texting. The “Living Single” cast is like family to me.”

“We spent five years together. I love all of them,” she added, but “everybody is doing different things, all over the place.”

She went on the say that “it’s a good idea” but she’s currently putting all of her energy and focus into the new, revamped version of her daytime talk show, “The Queen Latifah Show.”

“I feel like I’m ready now,” the triple threat said. “It’s been over 10 years since I did that last talk show. And when I did that show I still had so much more inside of me in terms of what I wanted to do with acting and producing.”

“I honestly could have continued that show for more years. It wasn’t cancelled,” she said of the show’s first run, which lasted for two seasons from 1999 to 2001. “I decided that I needed to fulfill that side of me.”

Although an exact date for the possible “Living Single’ reunion has yet to be set, Latifah said, “That will always be my family.”
