Sybrina Fulton’s strength is awe-inspiring. Not only did she loose her son Trayvon Martin in an avoidable tragedy, she sat in court each day during the murder trial and watched his admitted killer get cleared of all charges.

In a recent interview on “The James Fortune Show,” Fulton said that God is healing her heart and using her story to help other people.

“I just, you know, like to think that I’m just a normal person, I’m just an average person, and God is just using me to work through other people,” she said.

“We’re just taking it one day at a time, even though, you know, it’s difficult, this is a tragedy for us. What we used to know as normal is no longer a normal day,” she explained. “So we just trying to cope with this new life, this new lifestyle.”

Martin’s mother is currently working to repeal Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” self-defense laws.
