Looks like reality stars skipping out on their rent is more common than we may think. First it was Kenya Moore, and now it’s K. Michelle.

Access Atlanta is reporting that the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star, whose real name is Kimberly Pate, received an eviction notice for failing to pay the last two months of her rent.

If you watched the last episode of the VH1 realty series than you know the singer recently relocated to New York City. Well, according to reports, she skipped town without paying for her June or July rent, totaling $4,800. And now, since she broke her year-long lease, the landlord is now asking for an additional $1,250 in filing and administrative fees.

Jason Lapene, the apartment’s broker, said he was willing to help K. Michelle get out of her lease without penalty but she was uncooperative.

“I was trying to accommodate her,” Lapene said. “But she just disappeared and didn’t give me the keys. I don’t even know what the deal is. She didn’t tell me she was leaving and made it difficult for me to sell the unit. She made it miserable for me.”

K. Michelle responded to the allegations with a post her Instagram account.

“Breaking News in America: K. Michelle refuses to pay June/July rent on her Atlanta Condo, that she’s moved out of for over 4 months. Shower not working, no rent. Very Simple,” she wrote. “So TMZ, AJC, or whatever else blog that my landlord has running this story for money and attention my statement is as follows: 0 F*cks given.”

She ended her rant with an album plug: “Remember to buy my album Rebellious Soul August 13.”
