Ever the controversial radio host and political commentator, Rush Limbaugh is at it again. This time, Rush’s strong and offensive sense of humor tried to attack star witness in the George Zimmerman trial, Rachel Jeantel. In an interview with Piers Morgan, Rachel claimed the word, “n*gga” wasn’t a racist term.

“The whole world says it’s a racist word. Around 2000, they changed it around, I think. They started spelling it n-i-g-g-a. That means a male, any kind of male…” These views are those of Rachel and Rachel only. This does not showcase what all Black people think of the powerful and loaded word.

“So, n—a with an a on the end,” Rush said, before adding, “I think I can now. Isn’t that the point? Because it’s not racist! I could be talking about a male.”

So, now Rush thinks he can say (and has said) the word “n*gga,” because it’s referring to any man. Right, so we’re taking our social and cultural cues from Rachel Jeantel now? Rush, you’re not slick! I dare you–go to your local hood and use the word and see what happens!

What do you think? Let’s discuss!
