Jennifer Lopez, who has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide, was honored with the Hollywood Walk of Fame’s 2,500th star today.
The 43-year-old superstar wore a Christian Dior knitted top and coral satin skirt as she was recognized for her contributions to the music world.
Lopez gave an emotional speech, where she thanked her family, friends and fans for “going on this journey with me.”
“This all feels kind of surreal… I’m a lucky girl. My dream was always to entertain…I just wanted to be good at what I did,” the former “American Idol” judge said as she fought back tears. “This landmark moment inspires me to work harder and dream bigger for all that is the future. I hope you feel as I do that it was all worth it, and I hope that I have touched your hearts even in a small way.”
She added, “Jenny From the Block has a new address… on the boulevard of dreams!”
Lopez’s boyfriend Casper Smart, ex-husband Marc Anthony and twins Max and Emme were also in attendance.
