Kordell Stewart is a former NFL quarterback who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Stewart was born October 16, 1972 and attended the University of Colorado. As a quarterback there, he set many school records, including most completed passes, most passing yards, and most touchdown passes. He led the team to wins in the 1993 Aloha Bowl and the 1995 Fiesta Bowl, but Stewart is best known for throwing a game-winning, 74-yard Hail Mary touchdown in a game against the Michigan Wolverines.

In 1995, Stewart was drafted 60th by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Two years later, he got his chance to be the starting quarterback. His best year as a pro came in 2001, when he led the Steelers to the AFC Championship Game.

In the following years, Stewart was released and signed several times by the Chicago Bears and the Baltimore Ravens. In 2005, he was eventually cut and left the NFL for good, though he officially retired in 2012.

Since then, Stewart has worked as an ESPN analyst and a sports talk radio host in Atlanta. He was also linked to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” when he was married to cast member Porsha Stewart.
