The calendar would like us all to believe that Spring is here. Well that cold breeze blowing my tresses is making a complete liar out of the season we all have anticipated. Since Spring is being a totally brat and isn’t quite ready to play, here’s a few tips on how you can mix your Winter wardrobe with your new Spring essentials.

Leather Skirt + Sleeveless Blouse: Instead of wearing turtlenecks and wool tights with a leather skirt, opt for a breezy sleeveless blouse instead. The proportions of both pieces are supremely flattering, and this combination can be both office and weekend-ready just by changing up your shoes.

Sequin Jacket + Crop Jeans: Don’t put that fantastic jacket you got for all the holiday parties this December into storage, but brighten up your look with a pair of cropped jeans. The length of the jeans keeps the jacket from feeling too heavy, and paired with a striped t-shirt and some embellished flats, this look will take you everywhere.

Winter White Sweater + Skater Skirt: Using your trusty white fisherman’s sweater as a starting point, indulge your playful side with a skater skirt for Spring. The silhouette is universally flattering, and you can make it more or less formal by adding flat boots, a wide-brimmed hat, or colorful jewelry.

Peep-toe Booties + Denim Jacket: For all you urban warriors out there, you don’t have to give up your sturdy ankle boots just because the sun’s out. Wear a floral sundress, and anchor the look with a denim or army green jacket on top; you’ll be ready for anything, even the occasional Spring shower.

So beauties, what Winter items are you bringing out this Spring?
