The world renowned authority on color, Pantone officially declared 2013 the year of emerald. They describe the shade as “a color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well being, balance and harmony”. Emerald’s been making its rounds on our favorite celebrities and stores lately. A great way to incorporate this trend is with jewelry. Back in January, Beyoncé rocked 1.8 million dollor Lorraine Schwartz stunners while performing at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration.

I found a similar pair of emerald earrings available right now at Walmart for $272. These beauties are 10K gold, green emerald with sparkly white diamonds. Gorgeous! I actually prefer this version to Beyoncé’s as they are a bit more wearable. For styling tips, let these gems shine through by pairing them with a white mini dress and strappy gold heels or take some cues from Bey and go for an all black look! What do you guys think?
