Christian Siriano took us back to the golden age of the Russian opera for his Fall 2013 collection. Siriano, who has built quite the impressive career after winning Project Runway in 2008, is consistently the show to watch each season. His Payless collaboration has been equally as successful and celebrities love being dressed by him.

On a chilly NYC Saturday night, the regal mood was set with a collection of lux velvet, lush lame, and buttery leather. Dresses varied from a bodycon LBD, to knee-skimming A-lines, and finally a sprinkling of full length red carpet options–all worthy of a night at the opera. The color scheme stayed true to theme with rich gold, black, and a flattering metallic fuchsia shade that would look amazing on brown skin.
Standouts varied from a relaxed fit black leather trouser (a staple for cool girls), a black curve-hugging velvet halter dress, and two peplum bustier looks that put a refreshing twist on the trend. A marble faux fur overcoat was also a popular moment. Prints were few but made a strong impact with elaborate gold hues. Actress Tika Sumpter would pull off these looks quite nicely. And then there were the shoes. Military over the knee boots in faux lamb fur, deco-inspired pumps, and super sexy platform sling backs, just to name a few.
Thankfully they will all be available at Payless February 18! Ladies, mark your calenders.
