The New Year is already ushering in a fresh crop of up-and-coming celebrities. We highlighted 13 people to watch this year, and you can best believe that Hollywood’s new little princess, Quvenzhané Wallis, made our list. She’s loaded with tons of infectious personality and an adorable quick wit–which is incredible for a girl who isn’t even a tween yet.

Of course the rest of the world shares our obsession with Quvenzhané. Entertainment Weekly captured the the youngest “Best Actress” Oscar nominee for their special Oscar issue with messy natural curls, an absurdly bright smile, and a masculine suit and tie that only she can make cute enough to sport on the cover of a magazine.
In addition to snagging magazine covers, Quvenzhané has been spending her spare time schmoozing with television reporters. She welcomed NBC’s Ann Curry to her home state of Louisiana. She talked about how she found out she was nominated, confessed that she can eat 5 pounds of crawfish (and proved it!), and sings her favorite Justin Bieber song. She’s actually sounded pretty good. Quvenzhané admits she’s a triple threat–will we get an album soon?
