This morning, I came across an interview Vibe did with Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. During their dialogue, she described the nature of her current love life with Chris as “I take it for what it is.” Not a confession, but not denial either. Just this weekend, she and Chris were spotted driving together in LA before hitting the Agenda Trade Show to promote his clothing line “Black Pyramid.” The same clothing line that boasts this charming item:

Chris and Karrueche didn’t pose for a photo together, no that would be too much but the fact that they’re still working together on her clothing line “The Kill” speaks louder than any image would.

“Chris [Brown] wanted to do a female line for his men’s line [“Black Pyramid”]. So he asked me to take over and “The Kill” was gonna be a women’s only line but it’s actually unisex,” she told Vibe.

“He hasn’t really given me advice. He completely trusts me with this line. He’s seen my designs and he loves everything so far. He definitely has my back and pushes us forward as well,” she continued. “At the end of the day, he will always be a friend. We’ll always care about each other. We won’t allow that to interfere. Our business is business.”

And she even revealed that she would sit down with Rihanna and Chris:

I’m a very mature person so if the time ever did come where we would need to sit down and talk, I’d do it. I’m a mature person. I can work it out but that would be a lot. (Pause) Yeah, it would be a lot.

We’ve been giving Rihanna the upper hand in this battle for the man. But, when you think about it, Karrueche may not have the title but she technically still has Chris’ friendship and love and the blossoming business to boost her fashion career. There is no winner, we’ll talk about that later, but Karrueche isn’t necessarily losing!
