This morning, while you were cursing your alarm clock for disrupting your sleep (don’t worry it’s almost Friday), the nominations for the 2013 Golden Globe were announced by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Denzel Washington scored a nom for “Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture” for his role as pilot in “Flight.” Despite the controversy surrounding “Django Unchained,” it picked up several nominations, including “Best Picture, Drama.” Don Cheadle also has a chance at winning the coveted statue.
