We’ve compiled a short list of stories that are sure to add some seasoning to your bland Friday afternoon. Take a look at them below.

And as always, you’re welcome.

1. Romney Lost Because Of President Obama‘s “Gifts”

Mitt Romney’s a sore loser. He’s been going around complaining to anyone that will listen, that President Obama defeated him in the election by wooing us all with “gifts,” especially the African-American community, the Hispanic community and young people. “With regards to the young people, for instance, a forgiveness of college loan interest was a big gift. Free contraceptives were very big with young, college-aged women. And then, finally, Obamacare also…” Read the entire story on Feministing.

2. President Obama Finally Lets His Inner Angry Black Man Out

Since we elected him the first time around, President Obama has been known for his cool as the other side of the pillow demeanor. It’s become one of his most defining characteristics. 3. Tavis Smiley Urges Black People To Get Loud

She doesn’t necessarily mean that we should turn the other cheek because some powerful man wants to get his rocks off. Like Cottle, I do think that David Petraeus’ affair was irresponsible, stupid and cliche. Read this interesting take on the powerful, cheating man on The Daily Beast.

5. Bill Clinton Gets A New Job Fighting Breast Cancer

Former president Bill Clinton has gotten himself a new gig. Clinton will be working with National Breast Cancer Coalition to fight against the devastating disease that also took his mother’s life. “The stakes are too high, the losses have been too great to let another decade go by without ending breast cancer,” Clinton said in announcing the partnership. 6. Kevin Clash’s Next Move

The voice of Elmo, one of the most Sesame Street biggest characters, Kevin Clash has been dealing with a scandal by taking a leave of absence. Even though the person involved in the affair recanted their story, many of us are still left wondering–what will become of Elmo? Read the entire story on The Grio.
