Michelle may be involved in a “messy” lawsuit over her adamant domestic violence claims against music exec/ ex-boyfriend Memphitz, but that hasn’t affected the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta“ diva’s vocals one bit! Michelle can sing her a** off and proved it last night, at SOB’s, where she performed for a sold out audience.
Sporting long red tendrils and navy blue corset, K. Michelle covered Monica’s classic song “Before You Walk Out My Life” and Mary J Blige’s “Love No Limit.” On top of those crowd favorite, Michelle sang songs off her latest mixtape “0 F**ks Given.”
She had this to say about Monica:
Mrs. Monica, one of the first ladies in the music industry to kind of reach out to me and tell me, you got it, don’t let these muthaf**kers f**k with you. I respect her so much because she came to me…it’s like God always sends you an angel or sends you somebody that you looked up to as a little girl or something when you feel like it’s f**k up out here [..] but this young lady Monica, she is a woman that I look up to dearly.
