Scottish songstress, Emeli Sande is making her presence known. The U.K. native has already topped charts in London and her success in the U.S. isn’t far behind. Sande is currently finishing up her stint opening up for Coldplay on their US tour. Working so closely with them, Sande couldn’t help but be inspired by their musical genius. She recently covered Coldplay’s “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall” and Huffington Post landed the exclusive. Emeli’s a very busy woman! She is also penning songs for Alicia Keys’ upcoming fifth studio album, slated for release later this year. 2012 is Sande’s year! Her debut album “Our Version Of Events” was released earlier this summer and has been certified double-platinum in the UK. It also helps that music industry giants like Simon Cowell, Adele and Alicia Keys. In September, Sande will perform one night of the month-long iTunes Festival taking place at the Roundhouse in Camden, London.
