Rihanna is suing her former accountants, accusing them of mismanaging her accounts between 2005 and 2010.
Court papers claim the audit is the “direct result” of bungling by the Berdon accounting firm, which allegedly “failed entirely to file tax returns in certain instances.”
The singer also accuses the firm of defrauding her and her Tourihanna company out of “tens of millions of dollars in lost revenues and profits” while simultaneously scamming millions in “exorbitant and excessive” fees.
The pop princess says the firm began betraying her shortly after being hired in 2005. Rihanna, who is now 24, fired the firm in September 2010.
Last year, Rihanna sued a real estate company in Los Angeles over the $6.9 million purchase of a hillside home in 2009, saying it had serious structural defects that made it inhabitable.
