Saving money is an action that crosses all genders, all colors, all religions and so on! It’s the one thing that we all have in common. We are all striving to earn and save that all mighty dollar.

For parents, teaching their children how to save is not an easy task. You will find millions of articles that provide steps on how to teach your kids how to save and I am sure they are quite effective. However, I am a firm believer that everyone has to learn through experience.

If we provide our children with the basic foundations of earning money and saving money, I think that eventually they will begin to understand the value of a dollar. Of course we will have to provide guidance along the way but I think what is most important is that they learn how to save and actually want to save their money, not just because their parents are telling them too. I believe this will make all the difference in the long run. Saving money is hard for even adults to do so if we can instill this very important skill into our children early their future will be a whole lot brighter.
