One of the biggest issues when it comes to planning a wedding is figuring out how to invite all of your friends, relatives, church members and co-workers while staying on budget. And let’s be real–not many people have the wedding budgets that you see on the wedding television shows.
So how do you make it work?
We recently sat down with a bride facing an issue that is very common. The majority of her family is from a different state. All of his family is local. They think their guest list will top out at 300 people. They only have $2500 to spend. They want to spend $800 of their budget to secure their venue. Oh, and they want a Mardi Gras-themed event, which consists of seafood. We all know that seafood isn’t cheap.
What’s the solution? We brought them on our wedding radio show and walked them through some tough decision-making. We also suggested some creative ways to save TONS of money and have a wedding that will make them happy.
