It’s definitely Beyonce’s time. Well, isn’t it always Beyonce’s time? The superstar mom was recently named PEOPLE’s Most Beautiful Woman and now she can add journalist to her resume. The New York Association of Black Journalists awarded Queen Bey with the first place prize in the Arts & Entertainment category for her “Eat, Play, Love” article in Essence magazine.

Page Six is reporting that in the article, Beyonce wrote about taking time away from the studio to enjoy the simple day-to-day pleasures of life that we all freely enjoy that she’s got to wrangle time for.
“Simple things like play with my nephew, pick him up from school, visit museums, go to concerts, see some Broadway shows . . . and spend time with my husband,” she wrote.
Beyonce lifts a finger and wins an award. Must be nice!
