Plus size model/actress Mia Amber Davis is remembered as the heavy set seductress in the hit comedy Road Trip. She died May of last year due to a pulmonary embolism while undergoing knee surgery. Her widower is suing mad.

Davis’ husband is suing the model’s doctors for prescribing birth control pills knowing she was too obese to have been on them. He claims in the months leading up to Mia’s death her OBGYN gave her Balziva and Zenchent as birth control. Both of those medications are “known to greatly increase pulmonary embolisms especially combined with Mia’s health risk factors.”

According to the lawsuit, Mia was cleared for knee surgery by the family practitioner despite her weight, hyperlipidemia, and being on Zenchent.  Davis’ widower says Mia’s OBGYN should have advised Mia to use condoms and other forms of birth control. As for the family practitioner, Davis’ widower says they should have requested Mia eliminate other risk factors before clearing her for surgery.
