You haven’t heard of “Chicken Idol?” Hot 97 is hosting a contest to see who can sing about chicken better than Mary J Blige.

Yandy Smith of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop” took her chances at winning the title as she sang over a back track of Mary’s soulful voice.

Mary’s chicken commercial has caused tons of controversy but the R&B diva reassures us that she didn’t see the final cut before it went to air.
