Stylist to the stars, June Ambrose has fully entered into the realm of reality TV. Last night, June hosted a premiere party for her new show, Styled By June, which is a show that will prove that fashion is more than the clothes on your back. For June, fashion is about attitude, branding and staying relevant. She’s definitely got all those things down and then some. Needless to say, I’ll be watching! Styled By June premieres on Monday March 19th at 9:30pm on Vh1 and here’s four reasons I’ll be there.

1. I count on June to bring the drama without conflict. It’s going to be so refreshing to see a black woman on reality tv without screaming matches.

2. June styles and has helped relaunch and rebrand careers of some of Hollywood’s heavyweights like Diddy, Jay-Z, Will Smith, Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige. Having one of June’s high profile clients show up on the show gives a lot of motivation to watch.

3. Between June’s three assistants–Eli aka her second husband, Tukie the marker editor and Rachel the socialite/actress wannabe that’s obsessed with the fun of it all–there’s sure to be tons of laughs. These cast members/employees are more than likely providing the drama of the show.

4. June is a complete success. She’s branded herself as more than a stylist. June’s the CEO of Mode Squad, Inc. as well as a designer for Selima Optique, so her work schedule is hectic. I love everything about being able to see a black woman thrive in her passion. More power to you June!
