Katy Perry and Russell Brand are getting divorced. The comedian filed for divorce from the singer, citing “irreconcilable differences” as all celebrities do, according to TMZ.
The couple has only been married for a year and two months. Their wedding ceremony – which BFF Rihanna famously missed – was held in India in October of last year.
Rumors began to swirl when Katy was spotted vacationing in Hawaii without her husband…or her ring…on Christmas Day.
Russell has been out & about in London without his ring, as well.
He said: “Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”
