About the author:
A native of Oakland, California, Suzetta Perkins’ writing history dates back to her high school senior year when she shared the title of co-editor of her high-school yearbook. Since then, she’s traveled the globe making stories of her own, which have been the subject of some of her unpublished short stories. Suzetta is the author of five published novels, Behind the Veil, A Love So Deep, Ex-Terminator: Life After Marriage, Déjà Vu, Nothing Stays the Same, and a contributing author of My Soul to His Spirit, an anthology that received the 2006 Fresh Voices Award. She is the mother of two grown children and the grandmother of two delightful granddaughters.
