Halle Berry could be returning to television in a drama series titled “Higher Learning.” The role will require her to play a college professor.

Deadline is reporting that the script, written by 30-year industry vet Lee Rose, is being shopped around to pay cable networks like HBO and Showtime.

This wouldn’t be the first time Halle was seen on the small screen. In the late 80s and early 90s, she enjoyed stints on “Living Dolls” and “Knott’s Landing.” She’s also starred in several TV movies including two Oprah Winfrey-produced films “The Wedding” and “Their Eyes Were Watching God,” and “Introducing Dorothy Dandridge.”
