Starting a movement of self-love through her debut single “Whip My Hair”, under Jay-Z’s record label Roc Nation, Willow is being groomed to become the future of the entertainment industry. She is on the way of filling the shoes of her parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, starting her acting career off in the film I am Legend and later appearing in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. She received a Young Artist Award for her performance. She recently released her latest single “21st Century Girl”. This song debuted on the Oprah Winfrey Show, and promotes “living life to the fullest”.
Willow serves as an inspiration to her fans, the “Willow Warriors”, not only through her music and acting, but also by being a trendsetter in beauty and fashion. Throughout her career, she has continued to remind young girls to embrace who they are, and dare to be different.
What we can expect in the future is Willow starring in the remake of the famous comic strip Little Orphan Annie, to be produced by Will Smith. Also, her first music album to be released soon under record label Roc Nation. Most importantly, for her to live up to the strong legacy of her parents.
