Boris Kodjoe has been cast in the ABC pilot “Georgetown,” alongside Phylicia and Ahmad Rashad’s daughter, Condola Rashad. The series is an ensemble drama about young staffers on Capitol Hill.
It is being described as a sexy soap centered around the young people behind the power brokers of Washington, D.C.
Kodjoe will play the Democratic president’s fiercely intelligent senior adviser. Condola will play an ambitious lesbian journalist reluctantly working the style segment of Website politicalcapitol.com when she’d rather be covering harder news.
Kodjoe’s last TV series, ‘Undercovers,’ was canceled in 2010 after low ratings. SOURCE
