Zoe Kravitz stars in a new film, “Yelling To The Sky,” alongside Oscar-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe. Kravitz landed the lead role of Sweetness, the youngest of three mixed-race sisters living in New York.

As Sweetness’ family falls apart, she’s left to fend for herself, spending the better part of being 17 navigating between a life of a crime and a life of purpose. From the looks of the “silent” trailer, Gabourey plays a bully.

The film will debut at the Berlin Film Festival and will also show at the SXSW music and film festival in Austin, TX.

Also starring in the film are Black Thought from The Roots, and Antonique Smith and Marc John Jefferies, who both appeared in “Notorious,” as Faith Evans and Lil’ Cease, respectively.
