The Baked Apple Crisp is a traditional dessert that’s delicious and super easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

Peeled sliced apples

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup of melted butter

1 cup quick oatmeal

1  tablespoon of cinnamon

1 tablespoon of nutmeg

Directions:

1. Place the apples in a shallow dish and sprinkle with lemon juice.

2. Combine flour, oatmeal, sugar, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and melted butter in a separate bowl, then mix until mixture is crumbly.

3. Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples.

4. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until apples are tender.

Try adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious winter treat.
