Beyonce may not know it, but her song “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” is now the tagline for a new public awareness campaign for female condoms.
Not the ones that flopped in the early 90s, but a new and improved ringed version recently approved by the Food & Drug Administration.
“It’s softer, it’s more affordable, it’s something women feel more comfortable using,” an official said.
The hope is that once women hear about the improved device they’ll give it a second chance — or maybe even a first.
