WTH !? I cannot believe what Iam reading. Yes I too grew up without a father but my mom was a very independent woman and didn’t take s@#$ from a man so there went that. And to top it off my greatest love, my fiance and father of our son (who was 2 1/2 @ the time, died of cancer @ 38 just as we were starting our life together. He didn’t have money BUT what he had was far greater than that. He had a love for his children that was unsurpassed! I was really mad at God for calling him home so soon, especially when there are MF’s like you still alive running around breathing and sucking up oxygen causing heartache for your offspring you ignorant a@! but DAMN ALBERT BROWN aka Al B. Sure I am Soooooooo effened dissapointed in you. I had such admiration for you brother back in the day not to mention that you were a hottie back then and I was “just” thinking about you last week wondering what happened to you and where you were? Now I know( in the bottom of some ordinary aluminum old school trashcan with the maggots) and just for the record both myself and my fiance are what our people call light, bright, damn near white. From reading everyone’s post. I will say it again. Most people have grown up without a father in their lives and have become successful adults with their own families. This is not something that should not hold you back in life.What doesnt kill you makes you stronger.But making letters to your father public is just playing the sympathy card to increase sales.I hope these letteres arent true because if this young man is truely talented he dosent need to do this because it is not going to help the situation with his father

This is not a new story. Quincy has been begging for his father’s attention for years. On his sweet 16 party(that aired on the tv show “my sweet 16″ Diddy said he called Al and offered to fly him in to the party for free. Al didn’t come. what excuse could he have for ignoring his son. he doesn’t have to see Kim or Diddy. Both have said they will send Quincy to him whenever and wherever. I know it hurt Q to see Al on the tv show(where celebrity’s kids sing trying to get a record deal) with his other son, but won’t even call him. that is just cruel. i don’t much care for Diddy personally, but i give him big props for loving and raising a son that isn’t his, the same as the kids who are. At least Quincy has one male in his life to care for him. Al you know you wrong.

I keep reading the comments that we don’t know what Kim did to Al, But in all actuality does it matter? Does Quincy need to be punished for Kim’s flaws? Did he ask to be born? Did he do something as an infant that sent his dad running? The answer to all of the above is NO! The child didn’t ask to be here and sure as heck can’t control what happened between 2 adults, nor was there anything he could have done to deserve to be abandoned by his father. Stop using the 2 sides to every story line as an excuse to be bad fathers. Men grow up and accept your responsibilities. For those of you who think Kim is behind the letters I ask you this? Al is broke and she has Diddy what the hell would she get out of making her son reach out to his dad in this form?? Teenagers have their own minds and if this is the manner in which he chose to express himself then so be it, but I’m sure his mom didn’t put him up to it. Many of us have written letters we just weren’t in position to have them published!

I can most definitly relate as to were Q is cuming from because I grew up in a home were my biological father was not there, but there was a male role model in my life, I grew up wit my step-father since i was about 7, and I give alot of credit to him, but at the same time I luv my biological father as well, I don’t any harsh feelings against because I was able to c him when we had a chance to get together, my biological father past away about a year ago and I thank god that I was able to start developing a relationship with him before he passed, so evethough ur dad hasn’t responded to ur letter he will soon cum around just make sure that ur there with open arms so u all can start building a future and just remember that it is never to late for ur dad to cum back into ur life, when the time is right u will both know, just embrace it with all ur heart because you never know when that chance will be gone

I can’t beleive some of the things you guys are saying, look around to see how many people are in this young man shoes, this is black planet and i can promise you 9 times out of 10 people on here grew up without their father, like i have, and untill you have walked in those shoes, you will never ever understand how that feels… So i feel his pain, no matter if your step father is diddy, your real father or mother is just what it is and no one can take that place, no matter what.

Well alpha 11906 you are right we don’t know either one of them,but because of that we don’t know if he has been in his life or not.That picture means nothing.I have a picture with my sperm donor from a couple of years ago,but he was not and still is not in my life.Obviously there is something going on if his son wrote that letter.Nobody knows what’s going on if you are on the outside looking in.
