I concur with this article, to me it’s cool with the first few days ,at first to break the ice, but if there is a connection(and only if there is a mutual connection!) he should begin to call and if he simply just remains to texting I’m 1. Not taking you seriously 2. Will start ignoring your text and answering them when I feel like it.

I think that I’m the type of person this post is talking about, not the thinking your in a relationship thing, but the not calling part. I just think texting is so much more conveinent & there’s no awkward silence like there can be on the phone sometimes. I save the phone convos for guys I’m really into.

Due to a relationship that ended due to the excessive texting and no conversation, I’ve made it a rule to save texting for emergencies,and phone calls for everything else. Women need to ignore the guys that refuse to make phone calls. It’s cute at first but when you realize thisdue doesn’t like to converse at all, you are going to be disapointed. Stop it before it starts and make it a policy not to have any convos by text. Just emergency texts like, I’m going to be ten minutes late. No emotions should be shared over a text period.

I do find Rihanna sensual/sexcitingly refreshing! On the other hand, i strongly beleive she is sensually diversed/bi-sexual or bi curious! I agree completely. Me and this guy have been “textin” on and off for the last three weeks.(LMAO, that even sounds stupid right?) He text me yesterday and asked me what I had planned for the night. I told him I had a date. He hung up the phone on me, like an immature boi (4 da record, he’s 26! I’m only 20) and then text me saying, how u still going out with n*ggas and u got a man?
I was confused. Like you aint my man. He seems to think because I was conversing with him via texts that made sh*t official.. Not in this lifetime it wont. The man I would end up dating is the men who has enough sense to pick up his phone and call me on a daily. Not a jackasss that doesnt know how to do sh*t but texts. But this story is true and everything you wrote I agree completely.

This is so true. What happened to the old fashion pick up the phone and call to hear my voice wheather good morning, afternoon or good nite or what’s going on today?
This texting had gotten so out of control. But I find that usually younger men text more than the older men. And I’m not pointing fingers at any age group just saying the men I’ve met. Hey men but we do want to be courted and not through texting.
