Twenty year old Notre Dame baller Skylar Diggins gained recognition when she lead her women’s basketball team to the Final Four earlier this month. She became eye candy persay, when celebs such as Chris Brown and even Lil Wayne started tweeting her, wishing her well wishes on her game and confessing their “crushes” on her. Lil Wayne even took it a step further and called her his “wifey” in one of his tweets. Cute right?
Skylar’s high rise to fame was quickly shot down as one of her “fans” released a nude picture of a woman that resembled Skylar, and claimed it to be her. Skylar went to her Twitter to clear up the rumors, stating: “Gotta clear this up. I don’t know what pic is going around, but that is NOT ME. I don’t know who is going around trying to defame my character, but it’s sad. The people that know me and love me know that I would never handle myself in such a careless and classless manner. I can truly say I am hurt by this. I don’t believe how someone could attempt to ruin my name by being untrue. I am stronger than this though.”
